Exciting News

I have some exciting news to report this morning. We now have a club on Clubhouse! This is something I’ve been meaning to create for a while, but things in my life have been pretty busy lately, so I’m just now getting around to it.

Club Creation Journey

I was asked by a member of our Facebook group if we could create a club back when the Clubhouse app was only on iOS. I have an Android phone, so I wasn’t able to do it then. Once the app came out on Android, I decided to create a club. I apologize to those who have been waiting for this for taking so long to get it done. It’s now up and running. The club is open to anyone living with multiple disabilities, including disabled people themselves, caregivers and family, and allies. Current Status

Since the initial launch, the Multiple Disabilities Club has grown steadily. While I’m still finding my footing in the ever-changing landscape of Clubhouse, I remain committed to providing a space for people with multiple disabilities, caregivers, family members, and allies.

Community Engagement

I’m exploring ways to engage our community that accommodate various needs and comfort levels, including my own. Stay tuned for updates on future events and discussions. To learn about some of the challenges faced by individuals with autism and chronic illness, read my article.
